The entry fee for Irazu Volcano National Park is $15 for non-resident adults and $5 for children ages 2 to 12. Tickets are not sold at the gate.
Yes. Pre-booking a timed entry slot online through the SINAC website is mandatory. You cannot buy a ticket when you arrive.
Entry is $10 for adults and $7.50 for students and children. You can purchase these at the site.

The tour guide was great!!! The tour guide was so knowledgeable about the plants at the botanical garden. He made sure to tell us how long we had at each location and told us where to meet back at. He really made the tour fantastic
This was a great experience, with a terrific guide. Hayro impressed us with his knowledge of each place we visited. The included lunch was fantastic, in a beautiful setting next to a lake. I recommend this tour.
Eric as guide was very konwledgeable and I especially enjoyed the history of Costa Riica and national symbols
